WENDER TAKES TITLE OF MR ROUNDUP PENSACOLA 2017
(July 22, 2017 Pensacola, FL)

Johnny Wender of Pensacola has earned the title of Mr. Roundup Pensacola 2017!
Wender overcame the challenge of five competitors to capture the title in front of a packed house at The Roundup. The contestants were judged on their private interviews, as well as their appearance and presence in Levi/Letaher wear and jockstrap, and their spontaneity to questions about the Levi/Leather community.
In just 15 minutes, the six contestants raised more than $500 to benefit Appetite for Life, an orgainzation that provides nutritious meals for people living with HIV, AIDS and other life-threatening diseases.
Wender will now represent The Roundup during Mobile Bleather Weekend in the Mr. Gulf Coast Bear Contest, then in New Orleans during Southern Decadence in the Mr. Lousiana Leather Contest, a precursor to Internationl Mr. Leather in Chicago. Should Wender not be able to perform those duties, the responsibility will then transfer to the contest runner up, Mr. Joel Wimbley.
All six contestants expressed a desire to invigorate the Levi/Leather community in the Mobile/Pensacola area, a concept well received by the crowd.
